Xinjiang WeiDi Food Limited Company locates in the Emin County town of Xinjiang Tacheng region in western China. It is an industry economical entity that is professionally engaged in scientific research, planting, processing and selling this small berry in the temperature inversion region. It possesses fined assets of 13.4 million Yuan and has 66 employees, 15 of which are technical persons.

Source of raw material

The source are distributed in typical temperature inversion region where the temperature changes greatly between day and night, it's cool in summer and warm in winter. It possesses fined assets of 78 million Yuan and occupies 187.76 hectares, including 8 hectares for scientific research, growing seedlings and experimental base (planting 2 million high quantity seedlings every year); 16 hectares for scientific demonstrating, 162.76 hectares for planting. It has been ten years since we planted and cultivated the black currant.

The unique climate is beneficial for berry growing and accumulating of bioactivity component in it. These are great quantities of bio-type flavonoid, unsaturated fatty acid, amino acid, vitamin and mineral in it. The content of Vc is tens to hundred times as that in other fruits; the content of Ca is the greatest in all kinds of fruits; the soluble solid body in the ripe black currant are more than 18%.

It is shown by numbers of experiments that the black currant is good for health protection, such as softening blood vessel, lowering blood pressure and enhancing human immunity. The flavonoid in it has anticancer and cancerproof.

Intensively Processing of the Fruits

The processing industry in the company began first at June 1999, which occupied 2.1 hectares and possessed fixed assets of 56 million Yuan. We produce the completely nature raw juice, fruit juice drink and jam with high quality fresh black currant. The production technology is reasonable and the compound is exquisite. These is no preservative and artificial compound additive. It has the nature characteristic of original taste, color, nutrient and high grade. Our productions have been sold in 7 provinces of China and are warmly welcome.
